1. Job Responsibilities
-Work closely with International Media Affairs Team in HQ help Korea operation increase
positive publicity
-Develop story concepts and writes compelling press releases.
-Develop new media contacts and strengthen relationships
-Write and update material for local media such as media kit and fact sheets
-Screen interview requests and organize interviews with appropriate spokespersons
according to the interview scope, develop talking points and key messages.
-Identify and secure effective speaking opportunities at reputable events for company executives
and high level professionals
-Communicate promptly and effectively to requests for response, research, quotes, interviews
and information from media contacts; collect answers through communication with colleagues
in Korea and HQ
-Archive interview notes to ensure consistent messages are being delivered at all time
-Working with a third party vendor, collect, compile and maintain media clip archive and
monitor all press clippings and information sources. Pass relevant information
to relevant internal stakeholders.
-Working with PR department of clients/partners on joint press releases/press events
-Manage PR agency and service venders to ensure expected outcome is delivered
-May involved in other external communication activities as needed
-People management may be required in the future

2. Required Experience
-A minimum of 10 years work experience experience in the field of public relations
and professional writing required.
-Excellent command in English, Microsoft Office and editorial skills.
-Extensive network with local journalists
-Experience of press release development
-Work experience in telecommunications or IT industry is preferred; familiarity with
telecom terminology would be a plus
-Experience in managing vendors and partner agencies is required
-Strategic thinking and hands-on
-Has people management experience (minimum 3 years)
-A get-things-done minded and self-motivated professional with a positive and proactive attitude
and superior communication skills
-Must be highly organized and able to multitask and work within deadlines.
-Ability to deal with conflicts and offer solution
-Ability to think differently, challenge conventional wisdom, and drive new best practices
-Attention to details, ability to work in a cross-cultural organization
-Strong interpersonal and social skills
