A global leading consumer company is seeking a ‘Quality Engineer’ as follow;

[RESPONSIBILITIES]
1)  Setup Quality Assurance Process & system.
2) Implement and analyze current quality monitoring methods, systems, and tools and develop and implement new ones to increase effectiveness and efficiency.
3)  Collect, report, and analyze quality data to understand trends, to identify potential problems, to identify quality improvement actions and initiatives, and to determine the effectiveness of quality improvement initiatives.
4)  Understand manufacturing processes and equipment; apply process-engineering quality management methods; implement new process-engineering quality management methods.
5)  Work with third-party manufacturers, service provider and company manufacturing operations to:
   a) Ensure compliance with GMP/HACCP and company requirements according to applicable requirements and established company procedures.
   b) Conduct and document compliance audits.
   c) Conduct training and monitoring visits to teach the company Quality Management System.
   d) Provide assistance to evaluate and qualify new production and packaging equipment.
   e) Provide training in the necessary procedures for holding, manufacturing, warehousing and distribution of company products, raw materials and packaging components.
6)  Conduct and properly document pre-production audits of potential third-party manufacturers.
7)  Support company specification owners to define quality attributes and acceptance and rejection criteria for company products and materials; and to ensure that quality requirements are effectively addressed in all company material specifications.
8)  Support Supplier Management to evaluate new types of packaging to improve the quality of company products.
9)  Write and assist others to write guidelines and SOPs to communicate company quality management and monitoring procedures to Suppliers.

 

[QUALIFICATIONS]
- University degree in Food Engineering or Chemical Engineering preferred
- MS Office (especially excel, powerpoint) & statistical analysis applications required
- SAP MM preferred, ERP required
- Well developed numerical understanding, analytical skills & attention to detail
- Experienced quality in Cosmetic & Supplementary industry
- Good knowledge & communication skill of English to facilitate conference calls
- Customer service orientation
- Pro-active, driven and & Good team player work with all members in Supply Chain, Marketing Team and Suppliers.
- Quality inspection, auditing and testing experience
- Experience with implementation of corrective action
- Oriented to work independently to develop and manage projects of increased scope. Propose new ideas and methods to improve effectiveness and efficiency of quality systems.
- Fluent in Written & Spoken English (TOEIC Speaking Level 7)
