A global retail company is seeking a real estate expert as follows;

[Job Requirements ]
- Design, Planning, etc. on nominated lands & sites for new facilities(preconstruction까지의 업무 총괄)
- Communication and Presentation to the chairman of the board in U.S.A. regarding the future profitability, feasibility, evaluation & measurement, etc. on nominated sites.
- Approval from the chairman of the board

[QUALIFICATIONS]
- 3~5 years of current (or very recent) big box retail or commercial real estate experience, (finding dirt, negotiating with landowners, developing deal strategy, working with Legal on contract language, etc)
- Strong communication skills (written and oral), including an ability to confidently present deal packages to the Chairman of the Board --> Presentation & Approval (Very harsh & important)
- High level understanding and Knowledge on Korean and US Real Estate including the differences - Substantial experience working through the various permitting (Building Design, Traffic, Building Permit, etc), processes required with a new facility
- Large existing network of personal contacts within the Korean Real Estate community
- Analytical skills required, with a MBA or law degree preferred
- Prefer Korean and English language skills (reading, writing, and speaking)
- Naturally English and a foreigner preferred
- Experienced Team Head over 3~5yrs preferred
- Excellent proven skills in developing, communicating, and guiding expansion strategy
- Good organizational skills with a strong capability to prioritize and maintain focus
- Ability to work independently, within a global team context
*The Real Estate team is small by design, we expect to maximize the benefits provided by a healthy broker/agent/real estate contact network; the position should be considered as much about “doing” as it is about “directing”
