Owner of storage business goal and sales performance, demand generation with white space acquisition and relationship management
* Summary of Role *
Owner of storage business goal and sales performance, demand generation with white space acquisition and relationship management
* Principal Responsibilities (Inclusive but Not Exhaustive)
• Sales of LOB to achieve FY0x business plan by yearly revenue for the line of business in focus
• Lead business plan development to grow storage business for each aligned segments and territories.
•Participate in demand generation activities, such as, account visits, conducting workshops, speak in events, be a consultant during blitz days, etc
• Assists in formulating the customer’s long-term strategic vision and the role company plays as a strategic partner – conduct/coordinate technology or strategic IT planning forums
•Device new approaches to sell company Solution + Storage products
•Involved in strategic planning of new commercial initiatives for area of focus
•Involved, manage, lead in BMS with management internally and with partners’
•Self development in area of relevant technologies and commercial application of these technologies
•Conducting update briefings / trainings to sales communities in the area of focus
•Demand Generation programs creation and execution (work with Marketing, field sales, SC, TSR, ISR)
Formulation and execution of quarterly plan and yearly strategic plan
Identify and develop joint go-to-market strategies, lead generation campaigns, events etc both inside and outside activities
Facilitate and co-ordinate with in-country marketing of company as well as partner’s marketing manager
Work with Field Marketing, Sales and Pre Sales personnel to produce the desired business results
•Funnel review with sales makers (Weekly)
•Owning the company Storage business numbers
•Responsible for weekly reporting of the LOB/Key acct status/performance.
•Ability to analyze various reports to determine performance status, pin-point areas of concern and devise effective recovery analysis.
•Track the programs on an on-going basis to ensure effective execution
•Responsible for first line sales & SSG support on storage escalations
•Maintain OPN resource for company sales community
• Pro-actively analyze the LOB market and OS attach using multiple data sources (IDC, Gartner, Price-Banding charts, etc.) and recommend strategies to improve and optimize the LOB performance.
