Position: General Manager (전무 - 상무이사급)

Location: Ulsan

Career: 15+ years

 

[Job Specification]

- Overall responsibilities for Operations, Engineering, Sales and Marketing, Human Resources, Logistics, Finance and Accounting in plant environment

- Ensures the implementation of group headquarters policies and procedures

- Identifies and recommends the short, medium and long-term business strategies

- Prepares and is accountable for the organization’s plans and budgets

- Directs and organizes the organization’s material, human and economic resources

- Identifies and develops business opportunities

- Reports all its activities to MD of Waste Business Line Manager and CEO

- Ensures relationships with government bodies and local authorities

- Builds amicable relationships with local community and industry participants


- Secures work health & safety on-site


- Warrants all operational activities comply with environmental regulations and laws

- Maintains cooperative industrial relations with Union


- Liaises between group headquarters’ and project site’s (BU) managements

- Supports clients and marketing activities

- Lead project contracts negotiations.

 

[Qualification]

- Commercial experience  in sales and in business development, if possible in waste field 

- Operational experience  in waste activity (incinerator, evaporator)

- Project management

- Strong autonomy

- English speaking preferred, but not essential (i.e. reading & writing emails & reports in English)
