One of foreign environment company is seeking 'Automation Control Engineer' as follow;

Position: Automation Control Engineer

[Responsibilities]

- Support to operations

: Work with operations specialists to analyze the performance of our plants control systems, and find process control optimizations.

: Implement those optimizations when simple enough. When more complex, specify and coordinate the implementation with contractors and vendors.

: Coordinate the troubleshooting and improvements of PLCs/DCS controllers.

: Support PLC and SCADA maintenance, upgrades, and new installations in facilities in coordination with other teams.

: Support automation parts procurement.

: Perform the technical audit of the automation systems used on our sites.

: Participate in the design and implementation of secure data logging and transmission systems capable of adapting to the various PLCs/Scada brands/models in our sites.

: Review and validate automation and instrumentation systems proposed by subcontractors,

: Overview with suppliers the installation, calibration, configuration, and maintenance activities on wired and wireless instrumentation in our plants.

: Challenge the solutions proposed by subcontractors for optimization of costs and performances.

: Participate in the commissioning phases of new projects for the automation and supervision side, in coordination with the chosen suppliers.

: Support development teams to build offers to potential clients by proposing automation control and supervision design and architecture, with associated budget evaluation.

- Engineering

: Define automation concepts and system architecture based on process and project requirements (control philosophy, P&ID,…).

: Release engineering documents required to develop automation systems (ex: system architecture drawings, control logic, single line diagrams, I/O list, load list, bill of quantities).

: Understand automation safety requirements and recommend relevant solutions, participate in HAZOP, (D)FMEA, SIL analysis 

: Insure compliance of automation and instrumentation systems with applicable norms and standards.

: Coordinate with IT department for the definition of ICS computing device and network & data communication systems in compliance with Company Group guidelines.

: Coordinate with IT department & CISO for ICS (Industrial Control System) network and Ethernet communication install to be ensured with Company group Security principal

: Prepare target specifications for electrical equipment, automation devices and instrumentation (wired / wireless)

[Qualification]

- Bachelor or master degree in system automation or electrical system

- Automation or electrical license preferred.

- Familiar with solutions from Siemens, Schneider Electric, or Rockwell, for Plant Automation and Building Management Systems.

- Experience in water or waste or energy fields;

- Experiences in implementing wired and wireless instrumentation systems for water or energy monitoring.

- Good knowledge of standards for automation safety (ex: IEC 61508), quality (ISO 9001, 50001...)
