A global leading chemical company is seeking an ‘Internal Auditor’ as follow;

* Job Title :  Internal Auditor

* Position: Director (Isa) or Bujang or Chajang

* Location:  Seoul HQ

* Report to Country Manager (Foreigner)

 

{RESPONSIBILITIES}

~ Perform the full audit cycle including conducting risk and control assessment as well as evaluating operations’ effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with applicable regulations

~ Selects and documents representative audit samples based on established methodologies

~ Conducts audit testing and identifies and reports audit issues

~ Reviews the effectiveness of internal control design and recommends improvements as warranted

~ Determines auditee compliance with policies, procedures, or selected attributes

~ Prepares quarterly report summarizing the audit findings and recommendations, and report to company CEO

~ Prepares audit work papers based on standardized formats sufficient to support audit conclusions reached

~ Effectively communicates audit progress, issues and findings verbally and in writing

~ Meets and effectively interacts with internal managers, employees, consultants, customers and outside vendors

~ Providing ad hoc advice and guidance to managers and staff as needed

~ Supports external auditors as needed

 

{REQUIREMENTS}

~ Over 10 years in related fields

~ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting strongly preferred

~ Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, relevant laws and regulations applied to public companies

~ CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) preferred

~ CPA received or in process preferred

~ Excellent verbal and written communication skills

~ Excellent command of the English language is mandatory

~ Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills
