Job Title: Head of Advertising Sales
Location: Seoul
Reporting Line: Senior Sales Director in AP
[RESPONSIBILITIES]
- In partnership with the General Manager and the product teams, creates the advertising strategy for the various market clusters and product verticals. Focuses on:
: Building strong long-term client/trading relationships anchored in brands, credible audience franchises, data and insights.
: Growing market share of budget
: Aligning sales and product strategies such that revenue and audience success go hand in hand. In that context, ensure clarity around consumer metrics so that everyone understands success in the same terms.
: Ensuring that commercial policy is debated and supported by everyone.
: Championing internal initiatives that improve ad sales effectiveness
- Assumes financial responsibility for the agreed targets. Accountable for Korea. Ensures the business lives, breathes and responds to change.
- Empowers the Sales Directors, as well as the sales support and sales strategy leaders
: Ensures managers are actively managing the performance and development of their teams
: Ensures a shift away from pure relationship-based sales. Drives a cultural turnaround towards entrepreneurship, learning, innovation and analytics.
: Defines and re-defines expected versus great performance for the team
- Develops world class practices in the following disciplines
: Pricing and inventory management
: Ad product development/innovation
: Campaign management & planning
: Consumer insights and analytics (ahead of the market)
: Bespoke content for clients
- An ambassador for the company, with integrity, respect and influence in the market
- Partners effectively with the rest of APAC and DCI to build an ad sales community of learning and sharing.

: Proven track record of transforming a sales organisation and scaling a business.

: Strong financial ability in terms of making calculated P&L and budgetary decisions.
: University degree.
