[SUMMARY]
Merchandise a product line that effectively meets the needs of the specific category and market.
This job is focused on consumer insights, assortment planning, and product management.
Responsible for driving integrated, profitable, consumer-right-assortments
which express the category vision in the market.
Lead to align the Go-to-Market process with Sales, Marketing and Finance planning.
[RESPONSIBILITIES]
- Drive a seasonal line plan based on the global process in order to bring the seasonal vision
to the market and achieve the financial KPI such as GPM, Sell-thru & Revenue target.
- Build season OTB based on historical sales analysis & sales target per categories.
- Create the consumer-oriented assortment based on the target consumer profile,
distribution strategy and consumer centric mindset.
- Utilize the market knowledge to reflect the market opportunity/channel strategy
/volume potential to the global product creation through a close communication with HQ.
- Lead a cross-functional alignment to execute the seasonal assortment at the right time and right place.
- Present the seasonal assortment strategy to the internal and external stakeholders based on
GTM process such as Sell-in session with the wholesale accounts and regional brief with HQ.
- Update the seasonal forecasting activity in Centric8 system and manage sales sample order,
seasonal catalog, and sales training materials.
- Be responsible on every aspect of buying process and the result.
- Maintain positive, open communication with colleagues to contribute to the smooth flow of information and efficient operation.
[REQUIREMENT]
- 3~7-year experience of Merchandising is preferential.
- Merchandising experience and mindset (Past Sports industry experience is preferential)
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Knowledge of performance & sports category trend with the ability to translate into commercial concepts.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Good at influencing, presentation, communication, negotiation, and teamwork.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Power Point)
- Effective communication skills in both Korean and English (both verbal, written)
- Attentive to details & result-oriented with flexible & positive thinking.
- Strong teamwork mindset.
- Willing-to-learn attitude.
