A foreign pharmaceutical company is seeking a ‘Technical Service Manager’ as follow;

* Report to Head of Operation – Korea

[RESPONSIBILITIES]

- Support the Technical Service Group to ensure the successful transfer of target products

- Support the Technical Transfer Group in securing a successful transfer of target products

  ~ Actively participate in technical discussions with relevant parties 

  ~ Secure all relevant documentation from Donor site and ensure that this is provided in English to the Technical Services Group

  ~ Assist the Technical Services Group in transmitting relevant documentation to the Receiving site or subcontractor

  ~ Support Receiving site in the implementation of any method and process transfers, and performance of trials, optimization and / or validation batches

- Assist in the identification and selection of Contract Manufacturing Organizations and other subcontractors

  ~ Identify potential CMOs in the Korea for target products. Maintain updated Korea CMO database

  ~ Ensure that identified CMOs conform to the required quality standards. 

  ~ Conduct technical audits to ensure CMO’s capabilities and competencies are suitable for target product. 

  ~ In association with the Technical Services Group select the appropriate CMO. 

  ~ Identify, together with CMO and Technical Services Group, any CAPEX investment required for the successful transfer of the target product. 

  ~ Support in negotiations of Product Transfer and Toll Manufacturing Agreements. 

  ~ Establish and maintain relations with relevant subcontracting parties.  

  ~ Manage third party partner relationships and deliverables to meet project objectives.

- Responsible for securing a strong communication between all relevant parties

  ~ Establish effective communication between transferring parties and Company.    

  ~ Determine resource requirements and allocation for project implementation.   

  ~ Identify constraints and ensure regular review and update of project plans.  

  ~ Ensure adherence to project programs and plans, tracking all stages of project lifecycle. 

  ~ Ensure projects are managed cost-effectively with continuous focus on improvement and increased efficiency

- Participate in determining product specific transfer strategies

  ~ In collaboration with CMO and Technical Services Group, determine project specific milestones. 

  ~ Provide strategic guidance and technical assistance concerning all aspects of the transfer process.

[QUALIFICATIONS]

- Native Korean speaker and fluent in English.

- Experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing or technical transfers. 

- Familiar with Korean regulatory requirements.
