[Summary of Job Purpose]
- Responsible for facilitating the implementation and maintenance of audit programs, business processes and internal controls to ensure that company maintains compliance with applicable regulations, corporate governance, company policies and internal controls.
- Assists the company organization accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic and disciplined approach in order to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.
- Reports to the country manager and the global head of Internal Audit Department.
[Roles & Responsibilities]
- Responsible for the timely execution of internal audits as assigned, as well as assisting with other audit matters and project
- Selects and documents representative audit samples based on established methodologies
- Conducts audit testing and identifies and reports audit issues
- Reviews the effectiveness of internal control design and recommends improvements as warranted
- Determines auditee compliance with policies, procedures, or selected attributes
- Prepares audit work papers based on standardized formats sufficient to support audit conclusions reached
- Effectively communicates audit progress, issues and findings verbally and in writing
- Meets and effectively interacts with managers, employees, consultants, customers and outside vendors
- Supports external auditors as needed
[Requirements]
- Over 3 years internal or external audit experience required and overall 5-8 year experience in related fields (Finance, Accounting, Internal Controls, etc.)
- Experience in the fashion/retail industry preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting strongly preferred
- Certified Internal Auditor preferred
- CPA received or in process preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent command of the English language is mandatory
- Good interpersonal and problem solving skills
- Good computer skills: Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SAP experience a plus
