A global sports fashion company is seeking a ‘Apparel Merchandiser' as follow;
* Job Title : Apparel Merchandiser
* Position: Merchandiser
* Reporting to AP Merchandising Manager
* Location: Seoul
[RESPONSIBILITIES]
- Merchandise a product line that effectively meets the needs of the specific category and market
- Focus on consumer insights, assortment planning, Market, and product management activities
- Responsible for driving integrated, profitable, relevant product assortments which express the category vision in the market
- Communicates product and category assortments to sales and marketing and drives consistent premium product and category consumer experience
- Create and communicate a seasonal product frame work for the category, in a way that will support the Brand and maximize revenue and profitability
- Develop an assortment strategy, flow plan and pricing strategy that supports category positioning and will sell at retail
- Work closely with sales to ensure accurate product forecasts
- Know the market, the competition, and the consumer
- Research the marketplace, spend time in all channels of distribution, and interact with consumers
[QUALIFICATIONS]
- Minimum 7 year experiences in Merchandising in Fashion or Apparel Brands
- Preferred people management experience
- Preferred sports brands or Footwear Retail Business
- Excellent product intelligence - consumer awareness, creativity, passion of brand and product
- Ability of strategic thinking and problem solving
- Good at influencing, presentation, communication, negotiation and teamwork
- Fluent in English language (both verbal and written)
