An international food company is seeking a ‘Supply Manager' as follows;

This position has operational and P&L responsibility for the Korean Supply business, working in close collaboration with the relevant Market and Functional Managers as well as third party growers and packhouse operators.

The supply manager will work closely with senior management to define the overall supply strategy and is responsible for the day to day development and management of a cross functional team providing technical, commercial, operational and administrative interface with local growers and postharvest operators.

Responsibilities

·         Development and implementation of fruit sourcing strategy to meet supply strategic objectives and projected varietal transition plans

·         Short and long term production planning

·         P&L Responsibility and delivering the financial objective

·         Providing leadership and direction in the development and execution of strategy

·         Developing and maintaining strong relationships between company and stakeholders

·         Supporting the development of strong commercial, technical and financial systems

·         Implementation of a strong extension and compliance framework to ensure brand integrity

Requirement

·         Expert knowledge and experience in horticultural production systems and/or supply chains.

·         An aptitude for harnessing and understanding technical information and evolving strategy accordingly.

·         7 – 10 years’ experience in a commercial environment.

·         Written and verbal fluency in Korean and English languages.
