One of foreign consumer companies is seeking a ‘Marketing Executive’ as follow:
* Job Title: Marketing Executive
* Position: Gwajang
* Experience: 5 ~ 8 years
* Location: Gangnam (Seoul)
* Report to Marketing Manager (Korea)
[RESPONSIBILITIES]
- Working with the Korea Marketing Manager to develop the consumer marketing plan and program within the framework of Korea sales and marketing objectives
- Planning, implementing, evaluating and responding to consumer marketing activities and supporting trade marketing programs
~ Primary – Consumer (70%): Health communication, brand promotion, media support, consumer promotions, channel management support, public relations, consumer events, digital marketing
~ Secondary – trade (30%): in-store promotion, sampling, merchandising program, wholesale marketing promotion, food service channel marketing program, e-commerce channel and others
- Working with the Korea Marketing Manager to champion the Korea marketing strategy within the framework of global and regional sales and marketing objectives
- Working with agencies and third-party suppliers to implement the marketing plan in a timely and cost-effective basis
- Develop, execute and optimize marketing activities
~ In conjunction with Korea Marketing Manager and develop and execute a marketing plan that will drive short term & grow long term consumer and shopper demand. Various consumer activity development from ATL, Digital promotion in scope.
~ In conjunction with global marketing team & technical team, develop & execute health PR activities in Korea
~ Manage local promotional events in conjunction with the consumer marketing and support the Trade marketing
~ Manage the delivery of assigned marketing activities within the agreed budget.
~ Work closely with the Sales team in Korea to respond to the trade competitors, consumers and supply environment.
~ Lead the agencies and third-party suppliers to deliver the marketing plan in a timely and cost-effective basis.
~ Report back on marketing activities and results to the key stakeholders.
- Lead in consumer / shopper researches & market analysis
~ In conjunction with Korea Marketing Manager, lead consumer & shopper research to infuse the key insight & learning into the strategy & plan development.
~ Lead market project / analysis by utilizing customer POS data to offer the most effective in-store promotion by different channel / store type.
- Budget Management
~ Manage the budget according to the approved cost estimate and invoice.
[QUALIFICATIONS]
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing or similar
- 5-8 years’ marketing experience in FMCG, Consumer Products
- Strong experience in brand marketing or product management, across a broad set of marketing activities
- Strong experience in trade marketing
- Experience in project management & agency control (briefing, leading team, controlling schedule etc) is necessary
- Experience in Consumer (or Shopper) research (Quanti and Quali) is necessary
- Strong analytical skill to lead the research & read the outcome
- Fluency in English and Korean (both written and oral)
- Computer skills including Powerpoint, Excel, Word.
