One of foreign pharmaceutical companies is seeking a 'BD (Business Development) Director' as follow;
* Job Title: BD (Business Development) Director
* Position:  Director
* Report to APAC BD Director
* Location:  Seoul

[RESPONSIBILITIES]
1. Building Up the Robust Product Portfolio (Portfolio Management & In-licensing)
 - Lead the commercial evaluation of in-licensing product candidates by coordinating with related internal team (MKT, RA, R&D, SCM, Finance).
 - Lead the KR portfolio management aligning with growth strategy while keeping current commercial capability and efficiency in mind.
 - Identify the local opportunities for in-licensing, co-promotion, third party promotion, asset acquisition and out-sourcing.
 - Prepare and get endorsement of the business case from management team
 - Execute in-licensing & CMO deal coordinating with related internal/external stakeholders

2. Managing Alliance
 - Build and maintain strong relationship with partners for win-win partnership.
 - Monitor and/or execute periodic and/or incidental transaction including royalty/ lump-sum payment and collecting/paying remuneration for service.
 - Resolve the issue of partnership after analyzing the collaboration from the various point of view (legal, financial, market dynamics, operational efficiency, etc.).
 - Manage all relevant contracts and amend the contract reflecting evolving business/market environment

3. Finding New Market Opportunity (Out-licensing)
 - Prepare information package for out-licensing in-house projects
 - Find the local/overseas partners for out-licensing candidates
 - Negotiate terms and conditions of the contract
 - Prepare and get endorsement of business case from management team
 - Execute in-licensing & CMO deal coordinating with related internal/external stakeholders

[QUALIFICATIONS]
- Minimum of 15 years in pharmaceutical industry
- Will have a degree in a relevant scientific or business discipline, and potentially a second degree.
- Will demonstrate project management experience.
- Will have a good working knowledge of commercial finance and accounting.
- Will be aware of the latest trends in deal structures and funding opportunities.
- Will have a good working knowledge of all relevant company and national regulations, and ensure that industry standards are applied where relevant.
- Strong communication and negotiation skill
- Excellent written and verbal English communication
