A junior quant trader ideally meets the following profile:

·         University degree, preferably in computer science, engineering, statistics/economics or related field

·         Work experience is NOT a must but passionate and genuine desire to work in financial market is critical

·         Experience with the following is a plus:

o    Pricing and trading of equity, warrants and derivative products

o    Exposure to at least one of these languages: C/C++, C#, Java, VBA, Python

o    Experience with Database

·          Innovative mind with a desire to create and improve cutting edge trading strategies and program

·          Adequate English level

 

 Characteristics:

·         Outgoing, communicative and willing to work in dynamic environment

·         Competitive by nature and eager to win

·         Excellent quantitative and analytical skills

·         Quick and decisive thinker and able to deal well with pressure

 

Your initial responsibilities will include assisting traders to do the following:

·         Supporting Trader

·         Daily position management

·         Running automated trading strategy and tools

·         Researching and developing new trading strategies
