One of local EP companies is seeking a ‘Deputy General Manager’ as follows;

Position: Deputy General Manager

{Role & Responsibilities}

 1) Plastic sourcing (Upstream Business): Develop the sourcing by continuously extending our Network of Partners in the plastics Industry / plastics Unions, etc.

    ㆍSecure the sourcing with Long Term plastic Supply Agreements 

    ㆍMake sure the PP / PE flake is as per “our” requirements

   

2)   Operation: Overall responsibilities for Operations, Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Human Resources, Logistics, Finance and Accounting, Quality, Health and Safe   

   ㆍAligns the overall production objectives with the business unit strategy, the regulatory and contractual requirements.

   ㆍMonitors and ensures the efficiency and productivity of the production facilities.

    • Monitors the strategy for facilities maintenance and renewal. (KPI)

    • Ensures production volume, cost and quality of productions; ensures production schedules are met.

    • Follows the purchasing activities, and especially the main supplier’s selection; ensures products, spare parts and equipments availability.

 

3) Sales (Downstream Business)

    ㆍDevelop the Sales activity by finding new customers 

    ㆍNegotiate Long Term Supply Agreement with buyers in order to match the Sales Targets: 

 

{Requirements}

- Candidates are required to have Mechanical / Electrical / Plastics Engineering degree within of 5 years in similar position (Best in in the plastic recycling).

- Candidates with Engineering, procurement, operation and sales background will be considered for this role.
