[RESPONSIBILITIES]
1. Technical audit of existing contracts (BES/IES portfolio)
2. Support of sales activities
Perform energy savings (ECM) calculation using company group tools and cost estimates for Energy Performance Contracts:
- Conducts energy audits, energy savings calculations and develop cost estimates
- Identifies and quantifies energy conservation opportunities associated with HVAC systems, EMCS, building envelope, and boiler and chilled water plant systems
- Analyze utility bill data to determine customer energy performance parameters
- Perform energy savings calculations associated with mechanical HVAC equipment and systems
- Performs cooling and heating load calculations to properly size chillers, boilers, etc.
- Able to write technical specification for detailed scopes of work for subcontractors
- Develop cost estimates associated with mechanical energy conservation measures
- Provides energy savings values, utility rates, energy and utilities baseline information for incorporation into financial models
- Analyzes Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs) for technical and financial viability
[QUALIFICATIONS]
- 5 to 10 years’ experience in HVAC, central plant, piping and controls. Experience in a design/build, ESCO environment and international companies a plus.
- ASHRAE or Korean equivalent Professional Certificate.
- Proficient in writing detailed scopes of work for turn/key subcontractor pricing
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software, especially Excel
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience developing EMCS control strategies to reduce energy consumption
- Familiarity in developing cost estimates for mechanical HVAC systems
- Prior experience developing energy conservation measures.
- English & Korean: good command of English & Korean is necessary (at least on technical matters)
