A global leading company is seeking a ‘GL Accountant’ as follow;

* Job Title:  GL Accountant

* Position: Gwajang ~ Chajang

* Location:  Seoul HQ

[RESPONSIBILITIES]

- HQ package preparation, Prepaid expense management, Loan & Interest Back-up related tasks

- Financial Statement IFRS & KGAAP Review and management

- Salary related posting upload and review

- HQ package, Intracompany reconciliation, AP AR accountant guide & support for accounting treatment

- Year-end external Audit preparation, Cooperate Tax Filing with tax issue and tax adjustment

- Inventory counting follow-up

- Closing file for General Ledger & related report (Tax, Loan, Salary, Severance (IFRS), Lease and GAAP difference etc.)

- M&A related work such as purchase price allocation follow-up

- SAP FI related operational set-up for new company such as BS & sub-ledger validation and SAP function and transaction check and IFRS account management

[QUALIFICATIONS]

* Requirements

- Fluent in English: High level in reading & writing, and business communication level in speaking

- Minimum 10 years of accounting experience with 5 years in accounting firm or IFRS consolidation company

- Korean GAAP: Expert

- K-IFRS and IFRS: Expert

- SAP ECC6: Good knowledge of FI Module

- IFRS & Korean GAAP Consolidation Rules

- Group Consolidation Software Experience

- External Auditors Relationship

* Preferred

- Accounting Firm Experience (Audit Department) or Experience in mid-size company or Corporate Group which has subsidiaries

- Managerial Experience

- Experience in M&A and PPA (Price Purchase Accounting)

- Practical knowledge of IFRIC 4 & 12

- Practical knowledge of Korean Equity Method & K-GAAP Consolidation

- Practical knowledge of IAS 19 Employee Benefit

- Practical knowledge of IFRS 16

- Practical knowledge of DTA & DTL calculation (IAS12 and K-GAAP)

- Practical knowledge of Internal Control
