A global leading foreign chemical company is seeking a 'Technical Customer Service Specialist' as follows
 
* Job Title: Technical Customer Service Specialist
* Gender:  Male or Female
* Position: Daeri
* Location:  Seoul
 
[RESPONSIBILITIES]
- Receive and process customer technical inquiries via phone, e-mail & ”live-chat”
- Establish relationships with technical service, sellers/traders, global marketers and distributors
- Utilize product knowledge for making product recommendations, troubleshooting application, process, and/or product issues
- Make competitive cross references, providing web assistance and product data to assist customers with fluids, silanes, emulsions, sealants, and rubbers
- Serve as the technical liaison between current / future customers and company
- Capture, qualify or successfully hands off sales opportunities to others in sales and/or channel
- Interpret and analyze internal and external data / issues and then formulate solutions to issues and problems
 
[QUALIFICATIONS]
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical engineering, material science or other engineering
- Fluent in English/Korean
- Knowledge and proficient skill level in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Excel
- Expertise, training, and/or experience using various data bases (TIC, Portal, SAP, CRM, BW, MSDS, PDM).
- 1-2 years experience working in a technical area or customer facing area is preferred
- Expertise, training, and/or experience in chemistry (preferable silicone chemistry)
- Understand and apply product line strategies
- Web savvy:  Heavy web orientation for added efficiency gains
- Customer Focus:  Takes responsibility for consistently achieving customer satisfaction
