A Leading Foreign Derivative finance trading company is seeking a 'System Support Engineer' as follow

* Job Title:  System Support Engineer
* Age: 30 - 40 years old
* Experience: 3 - 8 years
* Location:  Hong Kong

 

[RESPONSIBILITIES]
* Installation, configuration and support of ORC trading environment
* Setup and support Linux/Windows environment and network equipment
* Server and network equipment maintenance in data center
* Take part in market rehearsals with HKEx and other exchanges
* Provide general IT support for PC users
* Optimize servers for low-latency performance in a high frequency trading environment
* Bench mark new servers and storage including testing & validation of new hardware

[QUALIFICATIONS]
* 3 plus years of experience with operating ORC or native trading environment
* 5 plus years of experience with window (Active Directory, Exchange server) / Linux operating systems (preferably RHEL 5/6)
* 5 plus years of experience with LAN/WAN networking (preferably CISCO)
* 3 plus years of experience engineering low-latency solutions in a trading environment
* Strong troubleshooting skills in a high pressure working environment with network, servers and development teams
* Must have excellent communication skills and be IT developer and Trader focused
* Strong understanding of IP protocol, multicast and other network concepts
* Understanding of enterprise level Linux security & implementation
* Working hours are 7:00 am - 5:15 pm Monday to Friday, and occasionally beyond these hours
