A Leading Foreign Derivative finance trading company is seeking an 'Accountant' as follow

* Job Title:  Accountant with HR

[RESPONSIBILITIES]
The Accountant within the trading firm understands the industry and financial products.
He/She supports the group Financial Reporting and accordance with IFRS as well as related regulatory entities.

- Perform monthly closing and prepare management reports with variance analysis
- Monitor cash flows and perform month end cash reconciliation
- Reconcile intercompany balances within the group
- Work with Mid Office Controller to fix trading results and trading fees
- Tax Compliance matters
- Filing of GST return
- Co-ordinate and ensure proper corporate tax returns filing and tax compliance regulations are adhered to
- Liaise with auditors, tax agent and company secretary
- Comply with IFRS, Companies’ Act, Income Tax Act
- Overall payment and invoice handle
- Salary and CPF managing
- Prepare budgets and forecasts
- Manage projects on accounting system
- Review MAS regulatory returns and ensure MAS regulations are adhered to
- Support the hiring process
- Office management

[QUALIFICATIONS]
- Degree in financing /accounting
- CPA holding is plus
- 5 ~ 7 years of experience
- Must be hands on and willing to learn
- Able to work independently as well as an effective team player, possess positive working attitude, energetic and proactive
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadline
- Industry experience

[Interview Process]
- 1st interview: over phone with CFO and COO
- 2nd interview: on-site with CFO and COO
- 3rd interview: over phone with CEO
