A global leading foreign fashion company is seeking a ‘Planning Director’ as follow;

[RESPONSIBILITIES]
- Report to Managing Director in Korea; dotted report to Vice President, Planning & Allocation, Asia Pacific
- Responsible for developing, executing and communicating strategic merchandise financial plans that support the company’s financial, product, and marketing objectives
- Strategially drive the business in order to maximize sales and margin, and optimize inventory
- Lead business planning including Weekly & Monthly Operations (S&OP) meeting, Mark Down planning, Inventory Planning, Supply Planning, Weekly Business Recap, MFR(Monthly Forecast Review), MFP (Merchandising Financial Plan)
- Responsible for driving top line financial plans from a divisional level to a department/category level, strategically managing the business in order to maximize sales and margin, and optimizing inventory, Seasonal OTB
- Develops and contributes to the development of brand initiatives, and ensures that all planning activities support annual goals
- Develop seasonal budgets that meet the total company sales and gross margin goals
- Develop seasonal merchandise gross margin components and objectives at department level
- Lead the budget process team that include senior management, merchants, planner and store planner
- Maximize inventory flow to improve turn and sell off percent
- Determine proper sales and stock relationship between basic, core key item and fashion classifications
- Identify sales opportunities through effective strategic planning and execute to achieve financial goals
- Utilize the planning system to project sales, margin, and inventory components for month/week level
- Monitor seasonal selling to ensure zero out compliance
- Monitor weekly results to achieve sales and margin goals
- Set up initial model stock for all replenishment items based on fixture fill plus back stock based on weeks of supply required.
- Execute the allocation of initial product distributions and in season replenishment to stores.
- Analyze daily, weekly and monthly selling and adjust model stock where applicable.

- Bachelor degree
- Managing and Developing Talent with supervisory responsibilities for planning team member’s work
- Open To Buy Management
- S&OP Process and strategic monthly forecast review
- Assortment planning & assortment planning prep
- Fashion or Retail experience
- Fluent English
